Abstract

This joint UNHCR-MMC infographic explores the journeys of more than 200 refugees and migrants who were in Sudan when the conflict broke out in April 2023. Using a longitudinal research design, follow-up interviews were conducted six months after an initial baseline interview, providing insights into how refugees’ and migrants’ movement intentions, aspirations, and exposure to abuse and hardships evolved in the context of ongoing conflict.
