This joint study by UNHCR and the African Development Bank reflects a shared commitment to forge inclusive, development-oriented approaches to displacement. Highlighting good practices and showcasing the economic benefits of development strategies that include refugees and internally displaced persons, the report serves as a catalyst for action for development actors, governments, private sector, and other actors to advance policy reform, increase regional cooperation, financial commitments and new investments, drive and exemplify effective partnerships and coordination, and promote scalable solutions in forced displacement contexts across Africa.
