Launch of the Qudra Fund for Sudanese Civil Society Organisations

The Qudra Fund is a new funding and support mechanism for Sudanese civil society. The Arabic word Qudra means ‘ability, power’, which is in line with the fund’s objective to support Sudanese civil society organisations (CSOs) in building a peaceful and inclusive future for Sudan and in strengthening Sudanese civil society’s resilience. Besides funding projects, the support mechanism will also provide capacity building and networking opportunities to Sudanese CSOs. This initiative is financed by the Federal Government of Germany and implemented by GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH).
