Why a Development Action Platform?

Why a Development Action Platform?
The Development Action Platform responds to the critical need for data and analysis to mobilize support from humanitarian, development, and peace actors for people displaced by conflict in Sudan, and the affected communities in Sudan and in neighbouring countries of asylum and return.
The platform is co-designed by the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), and the United Nations Development Coordination Office (UNDCO) and seeks to be a multi-stakeholder effort.

Data & Evidence

Data & Evidence
Data and evidence are critical for informing development-oriented and context-specific responses to the Sudan regional crisis.
Data also supports integrated settlement planning by providing insights into where resources are most needed and helping to prioritize support for infrastructure, services, and livelihoods.
This Platform collects the latest research, reports, and data for quick access and informed decision-making, equipping stakeholders to make targeted investments that promote long-term resilience for refugees and host communities alike.
