New Projects from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Support Displaced Sudanese and Host Communities in Sudan and Chad

In 2025, the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development approved 5 grants (total 15.7 million USD) to OCHA, UNDP, UNHCR and UNICEF in response to the Sudan regional crisis. These investments are the first by KFAED since the start of the conflict in Sudan in April 2023 and seek to support displaced Sudanese and host communities in Sudan and Chad.
